Harvest 2016

Our Junior Church presented a super service about the “harvest of the sea” for our festival service this year. They took us to the seaside, they reminded us that it is “not just the fishes” that we harvest from the sea, they talked about salt, power from the sea and precious pearls.

Thank you to everyone who planned and took part in the service.

Thank you, also, to everyone who helped to decorate the church so beautifully in readiness for the service.

Flowers were arranged on the communion table to make it look like a coral reef and there were further displays related to our theme in the vestibule.

Junior Church Show 2016

The Junior Church (and friends) presented a lively and enjoyable performance of Bugsy Malone on Saturday, 2nd July.

After rehearsing hard at the Friday evening dress rehearsal and on Saturday afternoon, the children and young people put on a super show with some great singing and acting. Well done to everyone.

As usual, the children were supported by a large team of adults, providing wonderful costumes, props and sets as well as direction and musical support. And it was wonderful to have such a large and receptive audience for the performance. Again, well done and thank you to all.
