Our church premises are well maintained by our Buildings and Finance Sub Group under the auspices of the Elders’ Council.
We are fortunate to have extensive halls at the back of the church and we also have a car park.
In the 1990s the heavy looking traditional church door at the main entrance was replaced with a glass door.
At the same time, the front vestibule area of the church was refurbished and we took the opportunity to install a disabled toilet at the back of the church.
The interior of the church was redesigned in the 1970s and has a moveable pulpit in front of a light oak screen.
We have a number of memorial windows in our church. Noel Worley, one of our members, has researched the names recorded on windows which commemorate the deaths of the young men from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church during the two world wars. He produced the following booklet in November 2009 and, because we have periodic enquiries about our windows, it is published here in PDF format and will open in a new window or tab:
Our_War_Dead – in affectionate memory of the Young Men of this Church who made the Supreme Sacrifice
