Living God’s love through faith and action
Regular activities:
- Sunday Morning Worship: 11 am, including:
- Junior Church, Youth Group, Crèche, Duty (welcome) teams,
- Services are followed by a time to chat over tea/coffee, often with a biscuit or cake and (sometimes) a Fair Trade stall or Craft Club stall.
- Keep Fit: meets Mondays 10.30 am during school term time
- Book group: meets every couple of months (see Church Diary but usually on a Monday evening)
- Drama group (Goldsmith Players): meets Tuesdays at 7.30 pm when rehearsing
- “Taizé” service of prayer and meditation: a monthly service, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month – see Church Diary for the time
- Wednesday Afternoon Tea-time chat on Zoom at 3.15 pm
- Church Choir: practices Thursdays at 7.45 pm (except during August)
- Craft Club: meets on alternate Friday evenings at 7.30 pm
- Ukuleles: meets at the same time at Craft Club!
- Saturday club: monthly for young people (7+)
Plus:
- additional services of worship at Christian festival times
- Social groups, weekly pub night, monthly activities (talks/walks)
- Committees – of all sorts!!
- Study groups, Lent & Advent
- Prayer circle
- Flower arranging
Annual events include:
- Light Night
- Junior Church Show
- Carols in the Courtyard
- Evening of Entertainment
- Junior Church camp,
- Christmas parties, pantomime
- Orchestra
